16th Annual National Invitational Scholastic Showcase (NISS) Tournament

THE MOST COMPETITIVE FIELDS OF ANY HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT in THE USA! Firstly, these events feature the top High School Hockey programs in the country for the three-day events during the 2021-2022 season. This tournament showcases the top varsity high school teams from across the United States to compete for the Governor’s Cup. The goal of these Invitational Events is to feature State Champions, Finalists, Semi-Finalists and Outstanding High School Hockey Programs and we will attempt to limit field 4-6 from any particular area [State or Region] to ensure that each school participating will face three uncommon opponents in the preliminary round of competition. The tournament is played on 2 rinks in prime time for this round robin event.

Admission is FREE.

The tournament runs from 2-9 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Sunday’s play begins at 8:30 a.m. with the final game beginning at 1 p.m.

  • Bufalo St. Franics Red Raiders, NY, 2006 NISS Governors Cup Champions
  • Cathedral Prep Ramblers, Erie, three-time Pennsylvania Cup AAA and AA Champions and 2019 NISS Governor’s Cup Champions
  • Culver Academy Eagles, Indiana, 2021 and 32-time Indiana state Champions
  • Franklin Regional Panthers, Murrysville, Pennsylvania, 2022 Penguins Cup finalists
  • Glenbrook South Titans, Chicago, 2022 Hoosier Cup Champions
  • Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds, Bensalem, Pennsylvania, 2022 and five-time NISS Governor’s Cup Champions
  • Meadville Bulldogs, WPA, eight-time Pennsylvania Champions
  • Medina Bees, Cleveland, three-time Ohio Club Champions
  • North Allegheny Tigers, Wexford, Pennsylvania, three-time Pennsylvania AAA Champions
  • Ontario Hockey Club, three-time NISS Governors Cup Champions
  • Peters Township Indians, McMurray, Pennsylvania, 2022 Pennsylvania Champions
  • St. Edwards Eagles, 11-time Ohio State Athletic Association Champions
  • St. Ignatius Wildcats, Ohio, seven-time Ohio State Champions
  • St. Joesph’s Marauders NY, 10-time New York State Champions
  • University School Preppers, Huntingdon Valley, two-time Ohio State champions.
