Designed by Jack Rouse Associates, one of the leading exhibit designers in the country for children and science attractions, The Zone will be a new child and family-oriented space within the arena. Five major zones with exhibits and play spaces will allow children to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM) through sports and games.
The Arena – a flexible space for running, tumbling and other active recreation with both focused activities as well as opportunities for free-play.
Toddler Bullpen – a separate space for toddlers to play with soft sports equipment that parents can stay close to while also overseeing older children.
The Prime Time Climb – a tall sports-themed structure that is part jungle gym and part obstacle course for kids to both climb on and play in.
Ball Buddies – an interactive experience in which kids will use a kiosk to create a digital ball player and can interact with other players in this immersive experience.
Tunnel Experience – a transition space to lead into the Arena zone in which kids can customize the LED lighting in this darkened corridor and a PA system will announce their arrival into the arena with a pre-recorded message.
