Take your time on the ice to the next level with ice bumper cars at Northwest Arena. Fun for all ages, this unique experience brings a smooth, free-flowing twist to classic bumper cars. 

Ice bumper cars are available during select public skating sessions, as well as for private rentals and birthday parties. 

• Ride time: 10 minutes per session  

Glow rides: During sessions when the ice is used only for bumper cars (no skating), enjoy glow-in-the-dark rides with LED-lit cars 

Check the arena calendar to see when bumper cars are available. 

Each car is easy to operate using two joysticks:

• Push both forward to move ahead
• Pull back to reverse
• Move opposite directions to spin
• Release to stop

Every session includes a brief safety and instruction video. Riders should arrive 10 minutes early.

Each ice bumper car is powered by an electric motor that drives two wheels beneath it, equipped with custom-made rubber tires for enhanced traction. A surrounding inflatable tube helps absorb impact, making the ride both fun and safe.

• Drivers must be 6+ years old and at least 42” tall
• Children ages 3–5 may ride with an adult (18+)
• Maximum weight: 300 lbs per car
• Shoes required: Flat, closed toe only (no sandals or heels)
