Public Skate at Northwest Arena is a fun way to stay active, whether you’re coming with family, friends, or on a date. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
New to skating? Trainer bars are available to help build confidence and balance – especially helpful for kids and beginners.

Learn to Skate
The Jamestown Skating Club offers a structured Learn to Skate program for all ages and abilities.
- When: Wednesdays, 6:00–6:50 PM (September–May)
- Session length: 7 weeks
- Includes:
- 25 minutes of group instruction
- 25 minutes of practice time
- Free skate rentals
Led by experienced coach Jaylyn Worgan, a four-time U.S. Figure Skating gold medalist, a National Showcase competitor, and former Disney on Ice performer, the program provides high-quality instruction in a supportive environment.
