Jamestown’s Northwest Arena has been a more than a serviceable temporary home for the Steelers, who have been provided with a top-notch facility, especially given the conditions caused by COVID-19.

“They have ensured that sanitation and ventilation and everything has been up to the standards mandated by New York State,” Fadale said. “You could eat off the floor in this place. I think the rink is cleaner than hospitals, you can see it and smell it. NCCYHA wants to thank Keith Martin and Craig Hinderleider, who are the top people at Northwest Arena, as well as the president of the Jamestown Lakers, Joe Hirliman, for allowing us to use their equipment and facilities.”
